Day 1Day 1 : Athens

Welcome to Athens! You are met at the airport by our friendly representative and transferred to your hotel where there is time to settle in and relax. Overnight at Athens.

Day 2Day 2 : Athens (B)

After Breakfast proceed for your morning sightseeing tour. Our expert guides will help you to explore the Acropolis and view the Parthenon dedicated to the goddess Athena and one of the world’s greatest cultural monuments. The newly built Acropolis Museum is a must see spot as part of your Athenian historical exploration, where you will admire the wonders of the classical era. You will be also able to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic games of the modern times were held in 1896 .

Day 3Day 3 : Athens - Syros (B)

After Breakfast , transfer to the port of Piraeus to take the ferry to the island of Syros (7.35-11.35). Upon arrival in Syros you will be transferred to your hotel. You will be amazed walking on this island with a vibrant culture and a strong passion for arts. The capital of Syros Ermoupoli, this wonderful insular city devoted to Ermis, the ancient god of commerce, has it all; a magnificent Town Hall situated on Miaouli Square, a Municipal Library with about 35,000 books; an old aristocrats’ district, Vaporia, with neoclassical houses of unique architecture; the amazing Apollo Theater; shops and the first high school ever established in modern Greece. After your walk relax and enjoy Syros’ gastronomic peculiarities. Halva pie (a pie made of thyme honey and roasted almonds), loukoumi (a delight made of water, starch and sugar), “loosa” ham, fennel sausages and the San Mihalis spicy cheese will no doubt satisfy even the most demanding taste buds.

Day 4Day 4 : Syros (B)

Enjoy your stay at the island and visit some outstanding orthodox monuments such as the churches of Metamorphossitou Sotiros (Transfiguration of Jesus Christ), St Nicolas the Rich (Ayios Nikolaos Ploussios), Dormition of the Mother of God (Koimissis tis Theotokou). A must visit is the medieval quarter of the Roman Catholic community and the fortress of St George’s cathedral situated on St George hill, also named ÁnoSýros (meaning upper Sýros). Go up the stairs to the top of the hill and through the narrow streets, by the traditional whitewashed houses, the archways and the open spaces with a breathtaking view of the island.

Day 5Day 5 : Syros - Mykonos (B)

Enjoy your breakfast and get ready for your transfer to the port to take the ferry for Mykonos (11.35-12.45) the most famous island in Greece and, with no doubt the most cosmopolitan in Cyclades islands. A place with archeological, natural, recreational and traditional facets, Mykonos constitutes a thrilling destination marrying jet set venues with nature’s rich heritage and eternal Cycladic beauty. A walk through Chora, the old port, “Little Venice” and the Castle would be an amazing first meeting with the island. Continue exploring the island with a visit to the Paraportiani Church which is one of the most interesting architectural structures in Greece, located near Mykonos harbor entrance. Day 6 :Mykonos (B)

Enjoy your day by visiting the tiny archaeological gem of Delos, just a short boat trip away. Do not lose the opportunity to treat yourself to some local Aegean specialties! Pepper flavouredkopanistí, a soft cheese seasoned with pepper, is the island’s gastronomic trademark. To finish off your meal you can sample two exceptionally good local pastries, “amigdalota” (small round cakes with ground almond, rosewater and caster sugar) and honey pie. Overnight at Mykonos .

Day 7 : Mykonos - Athens (B)

Morning in leisure.Take a walk around the Mykonos Windmills, with their distinctive form and white figure that have been a landmark of the island since the 16th century. Do not miss to visit the archaeological museum of Mykonos which is located in Mykonos town next to the harbor and is home to marble sculptures, ceramics, jewels and utensils, all findings from the excavations in Delos, Rhinia and Mykonos itself. Transfer to the port to the port to embark the ferry to Piraeus port in Athens (14.15-20.00). Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel

Day 8 : Departure (B)

According to your flight departure time, you will be transferred to Athens airport to get the flight back carrying in your “luggage” the wonderful memories of Greek Attractions.
