Lumbini, the birth place of Lord Gautam Bouddha that represents world peace. It was declared in the World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It is situated in Kapilvastu district, western Terai of Nepal. Lumbini is the one of the spiritual place in world’s great religions. It remains as the Buddhist pilgrimage centers from the early 3rd century B.C. The important heritage of Lumbini are: Mayadevi Temple, Ashok Pillars, holy lake, monuments, monasteries, museum, international research institute, birth maker stone, etc.
